Ian McKellen Returning as Gandalf in London One-Man Show

Ok, but will his BFF Patrick Stewart join him? 

If six movies of Ian McKellen as Gandalf the Grey (and White) wasn't enough for you, you're in luck. This summer the legendary McKellen will be reprising some of his most famous roles, Gandalf included, for a limited run in the one-man show, Shakespeare, Tolkien, Others & You.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, McKellen will take up residency at London's Park Theater for nine nights, where he'll highlight moments in his decades-long career and also discuss his work with other actors and directors. McKellen will even offer audience members a chance to ask questions and participate on stage.

"I'm performing at Park Theatre to help raise funds for the charity," said McKellen. "In a short time the theater has established itself on both the theatrical and local maps." The actor said that money raised from Shakespeare, Tolkien, Others & You will help fund the theater in the coming years. Read the full THR story here.
