American Horror Story—easily one of the most twisted shows on TV—is back for another season of fright. This season, scary is equally as sexy thanks to a cast featuring Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, and Sarah Paulson. Check out each of the stars in full Hotel drag, and catch up on everything we know (so far).
AHS: Hotel premieres Wednesday, Oct. 7 on FX.

Lady Gaga as The Countess
A vampire of sorts, the Countess is a wealthy, bisexual social doyenne, who is consumed with art, fashion and people.
Matt Bomer as Donovan
Donovan is in a relationship with the Countess (Gaga). Ryan Murphy teased that Donovan, the Countess, and Wittrock’s character will be entangled in some sort of love triangle.
Angela Bassett as Ramona
Miss Royale is a sexy actress who visits the hotel often and has a close bond with Elizabeth.
Cheyenne Jackson as Will Drake
Drake is a "fashion icon" and father who recently moved from New York City to Los Angeles. He takes an interest in Hotel Cortez.
Wes Bentley as John Lowe
Detective Lowe is a married man also suffering from a great family loss. His investigation into some murders leads him to the hotel.
Finn Wittrock as Tristan
Tristan is a male model searching to fill a void that it seems only the Countess can fulfill.
Sarah Paulson as Sally
“Hypodermic” Sally is a drug addict who lives at the hotel. This is Paulson’s first villain on the anthology series and someone Murphy describes as “the baddest girl of them all.”
Kathy Bates as Iris
Iris runs the hotel — at least from the front desk — and can’t stand Sally (Paulson).
Chloe Sevigny as Alex Lowe
Alex is a doctor and wife of Det. Lowe (Bentley). She’s also mother and trying to come to terms with a substantial loss in her family.
