Looks like Daddy has got some explaining to do!

Talk about some serious daddy issues!

One gay man in Australia received the shock of his life recently when he stumbled upon his homophobic father on Grindr. Yup, you read that right. His homophobic father. On Grindr.

The man, who only identified himself by his first name of Jacob, told Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O about the entire ordeal recently, and the story is just as wild as you would imagine it would be.

Jacob was just casually scrolling through the infamous queer hookup app one day when he says he came across a profile of a man with a pic of a headless torso, according to a report from the Daily Mail. While headless torsos are a dime a dozen on Grindr, Jacob couldn't help but notice that the man's background looked eerily familiar to that of his parents' house, and it was then he realized that the profile could belong to that of his father, who previously disowned him for being gay.

"They have one of those ensuites that are through the walk-in closet. I thought that looks sort of like my parents' house," Jacob told Kyle and Jackie O. "I clicked through the profile to see if it could be my dad."

Jacob went on to explain that his father is still married to his mother and that he never noticed any kind of rift between them (well, up until now).

Getting down to the bottom of things, Jacob, who has a headless torso profile of his own on Grindr, started talking to the account that could belong to his father, and his suspicions were confirmed when he asked for a face pic and received a picture of his good 'ole daddy.

"I asked for a picture of his face. When he sent it through, it was my dad," he recalled. "I am very open and forward-thinking. I don't care if he is gay, I just don't want him lying to my mum."

"So now I am torn," Jacob then told Kyle and Jackie O. "Do I tell mum? Do I confront my dad?"

Later in the conversation, Jacob revealed that he and his father were not on good terms for years after Jacob initially came out to his family as gay.

"He was super against it when I was coming out," he said. "He hated me. He was super angry and didn't want anything to do with me in his life."

"The older closeted men are often homophobic," he concluded. "I just don't want this to hurt my mum."

We're not sure what advice we'd give Jacob if given the chance, or if there's anything we can say that would even help! All we just know is that this entire affair is extremely messy! Big Yikes!
