On TikTok, a battle is raging between two dueling factions: Fem Top Fall and Vers Bottom Autumn. Who will come out on top? Well, both probably.
TikToker Eric Sedeño has laid out the battlelines.
"I'm seeing all this discourse about Fem Top Fall or Vers Bottom Autumn," he says. "Let's think this through guys. Fem Top Fall? What is a feminine top? A blouse, okay? Is blouse giving fall? I feel like blouse is giving spring/summer. Blouse gives spring/summer."
"A versatile bottom? Think about that. It could be a nice trouser. It could be a heavy jean. Joggers!" he continues. "Aren't you way more likely to vers bottom in the autumn? Think about it. No hate for Fem Top Fall, you had your moment. But blouses? Save that for the springtime!"
What is a Fem Top?
The classic definition for a Fem Top is someone who looks like a bottom, but is actually a top. Fem Tops can be twinks, they can be drag queens, they can be any other type of fem man or nonbinary person who prefers to be the pitcher in a relationship.
They may have perfectly manicured press-ons and contouring to die for, but they can also rearrange your insides.
