Gerardo Vizmanos x Chris Habana
New York-based designer Chris Habana has teamed up with photographer Gerardo Vizmanos to create a soft, black-and-white photo series that uses the nude male form as a backdrop for his sculptural sterling silver jewelry. As openly queer men, the pair's collaboration is innately an examination of sexuality, which much of Vizmanos' solo work centers on.

"My works are very personal and I don't think the gay element can be deleted," he told OUT in March, before his debut solo exhibition, Hidden Subject. "It's common to project LGBT issues, especially in controversial environments. My work talks about how tolerance can be an unbearable experience, and how negative violence exists."
There's a beautiful grit to the imagery, featuring flexed naked bodies frozen in tense positions--a physical reflection of Habana's work that, in many ways, feels naturally subversive and imposing. Keep clicking for the full OUT exclusive:
