While the appeal of buying t-shirts from drag queens in flourescent lighting at 2pm escapes me, thousands of drag fans descended upon RuPaul's Drag Con this weekend to do just that. Every Drag Race queen -- except Tyra Sanchez -- was in attendance to sign photos (for cash), including RuPaul himself, who gave a keynote speech Sunday. Also in attendance was Miss Vanjie, aka Vanessa Vanjie Mateo.

Ru opened his speech by leading the crowd in a "Miss Vanjie" chant and asked the queen in question to join him on stage, asking her about her experience becoming the biggest meme in Drag Race herstory. "Bitch, I was gagged," said Mateo.
