Yesterday marked one year to the day since Carly Rae Jepsen released E*MO*TION, an album that cemented the singer's place amongst reigning pop princesses and set the internet into a frenzy.

Now, countless memes, Grammy snubs, and infectious singles later, Carly Slay herself took to Twitter yesterday to wish E*MO*TION a happy birthday and announce a follow-up to the best pop album of 2015.

With jazz-imbued favorite tracks like "Run Away With Me" and "I Really Like You," and synthesized ballads like "Warm Blood," if Side B is anything like the original, fans are in for an exceptional treat when it comes out this Friday (8/26). Take note, Grammys.
