When fans were watching and listening to Lemonade for the first time, two things surprised them about Beyonce's up-tempo, twangy song "Daddy Lessons." The first was that the Queen had traversed into country music territory, the second was how much they liked it.

In a nod of validation that Beyonce didn't need but is no less appreciated, country perennials The Dixie Chicks covered "Daddy Lessons" at a show in Europe and it sounds just as country as when Bey herself sings it. Now the only thing we're waiting for is that Country Music Award and collaboration.
