Your new gay corner of the internet.
Never complain that there's nothing to watch again. Yesterday widely-known drag performer Sherry Vine launched her new LGBTQ entertainment channel on YouTube, gaySVTVworld.
The channel will feature a variety of gay-centric original programming including shows, specials, music videos, and short films all free to stream. Vine has enlisted the help of Haus of Mimosa, Pickles, David Serrano and other well-known queer talent to lay the foundation for a go-to online place for the LGBTQ community.
Though the channel is inspired by traditional television, all programming will keep episodes under a seven-minute runtime. "We're offering short content so people can view several episodes in the same amount of time as one traditional TV show," said Vine in a release. "Maybe you only have five free minutes on your way to work or during your lunch break. That's enough time to catch a hilarious episode of Fashion Puhleez on your smart phone."
The network has eight shows slated for its inaugural season that will be released daily. The first episode of Sherry and the Greek, a talk series starring Vine and Chris Semers, premiered yesterday, and today's premiere will be Fashion Puhleez.
