Despite having such big names as Jack Black, James Corden, Margaret Cho, Sarah Silverman, Kristen Schaal, and many other comedy faves voice their unequivocal support for the comedian, she ends the first tease for her HBO comedy special with the dry rejoinder: "This is uncomfortable for me, but I'm actually not a fan of any of those people."
The documentary Tig (from director Kristina Goolsby) was the opening night gala film for this year's Outfest, but there's even more of the funny lady of comedy coming up this summer. Tig Notaro: Boyish Girl Interrupted debuts Saturday, Aug. 22 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO. Featuring the Grammy nominee in an all-new standup performance before a live audience, Notaro's first HBO comedy special taped May 31 at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston. Watch the teaser below:
