On Wednesday, July 15, TLC will premiere I Am Jazz, a show that follows the life of Jazz Jennings, a typical teenage girl who happens to have been assigned male at birth.
The docu-series will showcase Jennings' experiences as she enters adolescence and learns to pilot through life as a transgender teen and approach topics such as dating, sleepover, and avoiding male puberty prior to entering high school.
Jennings, who was also part of Clean & Clear's #SeeTheRealMe campaign knew she desired to be perceived as the person she felt inside. With copious help from her parents, doctors, experts, Jennings dreams have become a reality.
