Violet Chachki was crowned America's Next Drag Superstar on Monday by reigning queen Bianca Del Rio. Her win marks a departure from the old-school drag embodied by her predecessor, but Violet proved herself to be a true disciple of RuPaul that night: Plugging shameless, yet charming, self-promotion.
In fact, all three of the finalists upheld the Drag Race tradition, each premiering a music video from their upcoming albums at the crowning. Violet may have won this year's competition, but do any of these girls have the chops to make it in the music industry?
