What happens when you combine two beloved U.S. Women’s National Team players? You get Christen Press and Tobin Heath: wives, cohosts of the sports culture podcast The ReCap Show, and cofounders and co-CEOs of RE_INC, a media brand dedicated to elevating women’s sports.
The soccer superstars fell in love while playing for the U.S., and have been together for over nine years. In 2015, they won the FIFA World Cup together. This year, they publicly announced that they are married. Heath also announced her official retirement, three years after her last professional game. Press is still playing, exciting fans of Angel City Football Club in the NWSL.
The couple also added a member to their family this year — a dog named Bob.
