The music video for X's newest track "That's What I Want" is literally the best, and gayest, thing ever!

Lil Nas X stans, rejoice! The day has finally arrived for the release of his long-awaited debut studio album MONTERO, and to celebrate, the Grammy-winning rapper-singer (and this generation's reigning queer icon) just released some brand new visuals for his track "That's What I Want," and as expected, it's gloriously gay!

In the new music video, X goes back to the country, cowboy roots that put his name on the map when "Old Town Road" was first released in 2018 in an homage to the Oscar-winning gay drama film Brokeback Mountain. After getting busy in a locker room shower with dancer (and rumored BF) Yai Ariza, X is seen romantically serenading his beau while sitting around a campfire. They both get intimate all over again in a dimly-lit tent before X's world comes crashing down when he learns that the love of his life has a wife and a kid at home.

With the finale including a Billy Porter cameo and X serving some beautiful bridal gown looks, the whole video is a perfect, modern reimaging of the classic film that helped shoot Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger into movie star status, and we wouldn't be surprised if acting was in the cards for the future of X's career!
