Listen to 'Don't Lie to Me,' the First Song From Barbra Streisand's New Album
Barbra gets political on her new album Walls.
Timing is everything, and Barbra Streisand clearly knew that the right time to release her new single was be the week before the remake of her iconic film A Star is Born is due. "Don't Lie to Me" is the first song from Streisand's upcoming album Walls, and the song has the legendary performing getting rather political -- which makes sense, as the album is out two days before the midterm election. The refrain makes it clear that Streisand isn't accepting political complacence, asking, "How do you sleep when the world is burning?" Listen to "Don't Lie to Me" below.
