The Blood Orange artist announced he's writing new music over Instagram.
Dev Hynes, the mastermind behind Blood Orange, is at work on new music--the follow up to last year's Freetown Sound, according to his Instagram:
Pitchfork reports the post previously was captioned with "Currently working on Blood Orange album 4," but is now just joined by the word, "Writing," implying Hynes may have changed the caption to allow for a more broad scope of songs he could be working on.

Freetown Sound featured collaborations with Carly Rae Jepsen, Debbie Harry, Empress Of, and Nelly Furtado, among others. Hynes also recently wrote a track for Blondie's new album, and put out music with VeilHymn, his band with Starchild & The New Romantic's Bryndon Cook.
