Happy first Monday in May, Out readers!

It's officially Met Gala Monday, and we couldn't be more excited for the biggest fashion day of the year!

This year the Gala is raising money for The Costume Institute's new exhibit "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" by walking the red carpet to the theme of "The Garden of Time."

“From a 17th century English Elizabethan-era bodice and Christian Dior’s famous Junon and Venus ballgowns, to 21st century acquisitions by designers including Phillip Lim, Stella McCartney, and Conner Ives, the core exhibit will span 400 years of history,” Vogue announced in an Instagram post about the exhibit..

We're expecting lots of florals and vintage and archival pieces.

It's also Met superstar Zendaya's lauded return to the Met Gala after a five year absence! She has absolutely slayed every time she has appeared, with help from her stylist Law Roach. Her 2018 Joan of Arc inspired metal Versace gown for the "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" Gala is my all-time favorite Met Gala look, and I cannot wait to see what she does this year!

Keep checking back on Out.com all day and night to see all of our spectacular Met Gala coverage.

Now, onto the news.
