Fall is almost here!
The weather has finally started to cool off, and before you know it, the ground will be covered in autumn leaves. So as summer comes to an end and you start drinking pumpkin spice lattes and pulling your sweaters out of your closet, it’s the perfect time to dive into all of the new queer TV shows and movies that are headed your way this month.
We’re quickly approaching cozy season, which means it’s time to curl up on your couch and turn on your TV. This month, there is a documentary about a groundbreaking lesbian artist, Anna Camp is hosting a spooky reality competition show, King of Drag is finally back with a second season, and American Horror Story is going out with a bang by bringing back the witchy coven and a slew of fan-favorite actors, including Jessica Lange!
With this many amazing shows and movies to keep you occupied, you won’t even mind that it’s getting too cold to go to the beach anymore.

‘Dreams in Nightmares’ — Sept. 4
A new take on the American road movie, Dreams in Nightmares follows a group of queer friends in their mid-30s navigating love, identity, and belonging. Starring Denée Benton, Sasha Compère, Charlie Barnett, Mars Storm Rucker, Dezi Bing, and Jasmin Savoy Brown.

‘Barbara Forever’ — Sept. 4
A kaleidoscopic exploration of the life, work, and legacy of pioneering lesbian avant-garde filmmaker Barbara Hammer, told through her own voice and films.
Barbara Forever premieres on Friday, Sept. 4, at Film Forum in NYC, followed by screenings in theaters across the country.
‘DANG!’ — Sept. 8
Meet the Dangs! DANG! follows siblings Andrew and Eunice, whose fun, messy lives in New York City are interrupted when their worst nightmare comes true: their high-achieving older sister Ruthie shows up and wants to hang out with them.

‘Call My Agent! The Movie’ — Sept. 10

‘R.J. Decker’ season 2 — Sept. 15
R.J. Decker is a former newspaper photographer and ex-con who starts over as a private investigator in the colorful-if-crime-filled world of South Florida. The series follows him tackling cases that range from slightly odd to outright bizarre with the help of his journalist ex, her police detective wife, his former cellmate turned confidant and a shadowy woman from his past.
R.J. Decker season 2 premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 15, on An ABC and Hulu.
‘A Very Haunted Renovation’ — Sept. 15
Hosted by Anna Camp, six designers take residence in one of America's most haunted homes and compete to transform it into a dream property. In the end, only one designer will survive the ghostly competition and claim the $50,000 grand prize.

‘Neagley’ — Sept 16
