American Horror Story is about to grace our screens again, and things are going to get witchy!
After months of patiently waiting, we finally know when the show’s 13th season will premiere and have gotten a glimpse of the infamous coven of witches.
The first set photos from the production of AHS season 13 show off the star-studded cast in all of their witchy glory. The images feature the star-studded cast decked out in all black, looking like the fashionistas fans fell in love with on AHS: Coven.
Sarah Paulson will be reprising her role as Supreme Cordelia Goode, alongside returning stars Emma Roberts and Gabourey Sidibe. Notable franchise regulars Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, and Billie Lourd are also back, alongside Leslie Grossman, who will be joining the coven. Season 13 will also feature the long-awaited return of fan-favorite Jessica Lange.
And surprise bitches! Francis Conroy’s iconic orange-haired witch Myrtle Snow has already died twice — she was burned at the stake in AHS: Coven and died again in AHS: Apocalypse — but these set photos show she’s alive and well.
Ryan Murphy productions are always queer, but transgender model and actress Alex Consani is joining the coven, John Waters will be featured, and Cara Delevingne and Charlie Carver have even been spotted on set.
Plot details for the upcoming season remain hush-hush, but when a first look at Paulson as Cordelia Goode was posted on social media, fans got a hint. “The Supreme Rises. And yes we have rebuilt the entire Robichaux Academy,” the caption read.
At one point, a Halloween premiere was teased, but fans are going to get to watch season 13 of the Murphy and Brad Falchuk series much sooner. The show will premiere on Thursday, September 24, at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT on FX and stream on Disney+ internationally.
