Uniqlo: The go-to for casualwear expands its East Coast presence with two new spots: one at the Natick Mall and another at the Mall at Chestnut Hill. 1245 Worcester St. and 199 Boylston St., respectively;

Los Angeles
A.P.C.: This store's stunning U-shaped building cradles a courtyard, a stylish mix of structural design and lush vegetation. Two more locations arrive before the end of the year. 8420 Melrose Pl.;

Shinola: The Detroit-based leather goods expert extends the reach of its all-American stock of watches, wallets, and bicycles to the Windy City. 1619 N. Damen Ave.;

Willys: Set in the heart of the city's blooming Midtown district, this new boutique (and Shinola's sister store) boasts a selection of American-made brands like Steven Alan and Filson. 441 W. Canfield St.;
