Gus Kenworthy, Milk and the Sexy Models at Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2019
For 16 years, Jeffrey Kalinsky, the man behind high fashion retail outlets Jeffrey Atlanta and New York, has put on his own chairity fundraiser to heighten awareness of people living with HIV/AIDS and support the LGBTQ+ communities. And it's done well, raising over $15 million for New York and Atlanta organizations.
This year, with guests and participants like Gus Kenworthy (who played as host,) Milk, Peppermint, Marti Gould Cummings and more, Kalinskey returned to that cause, with fudns benefiting The Elton John AIDS Foundation, the Ali Forney Center and Lambda Legal. Here, photographer Eli Schmidt takes us backstage of the event to spot a few of the night's featured guests and models preparing for the runway show.
