Cheng's Fall '18 Collection is the Lovechild of Anna May Wong & Marlene Dietrich

While there are no confirmed lovechildren between critically acclaimed actors Anna May Wong and Marlene Dietrich, we may have found the fashion equivalent in the new lookbook from Taiwanese designer Cheng-Huai Chuang.

Drawing inspiration from the 1932 Hollywood classic Shanghai Express, Cheng enlisted the talents of OUT cover star Kyle Farmery and photographer Tannel Abel for a lookbook fit for the glamorous garments from his Fall '18 collection. All dressed up in an assortment of prints, patterns, and silhouettes, the latest work from the designer whose clientele includes Cardi B. and Lady Gaga is cementing his place as one of the city's most bombastic designers.
