The Luka Magnotta case takes yet another turn for the strange
In the latest Luka Magnotta murder trial news, porn star and animal rights advocate Ron Jeremy has come forward and said that last year two Playboy bunnies asked him to assist in capturing the former porn star. The plot, which was set to take place in January 2011, involved Jeremy and the two Playmates, Sia and Shane Barbi, working with an animal rights group to apprehend the aspiring adult actor in California. Magnotta, who is now in custody for the murder of university student Jun Lin, first came to the group's attention after he posted videos of himself torturing and killing kittens, leading animal rights group Rescue Ink to plan a citizen's arrest.
Jeremy, who spoke with The Canadian Press about the incident, said that the plan was to lure Magnotta to Los Angeles with a fake offer to appear in an X-rated film, where he would then be apprehended by Rescue Ink. However, Jeremy, acting as the voice of reason, eventually decided against it, telling the news outlet, "That's a little bit out of my league, don't you think?"
