Adam Lambert 'Embarrassed' By Helsinki Arrest

Singer tweets regrets

Adam Lambert's doing his best to make public apologies for his brush with the law this week.

The iconic singer was, of course, busted early Thursday morning by Finnish police outside of Helsinki gay bar DTM as he and boyfriend Sauli Koskinen brought an argument that allegedly started in the bar's back room out onto the street.

Since the incident, however, Lambert has been regularly tweeting about how sorry he is.

Late Thursday night, Lambert told his over 1 million followers, "Violence is not to be taken lightly. Embarrassed by drunkenness. No punches thrown, no injuries and no charges. Media always exaggerates."

Earlier in the day he had made light of the situation--after both men were freed by cops with no apparent lasting repercussions-- "Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us/blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :)"
