New Tumblr Page Asks: Hipster or Halloween?

The word hipster has long since passed its tipping point. Gawker has retired the termonology for the social sect and re-christened them with the moniker "fauxhemian." Urban Outfitters and Hot Topic have both labeled clothing styles with the description "hipster," and the Internet is littered with blogs and a variety of other websites dedicated to the tracking and study of this sub-culture. The latest -- via the Tumblr account Halloween or Williamsburg -- is just in time for the upcoming spooky holiday and posits whether the locals pictured are dressed for October 31st or simply denizens of Brooklyn's hippest neighborhood. Not only are some of the pictures a close call, they can be downright hysterical as well.
