Comme des Garçons is Having a Massive Sale

Often thought of as the intellectual's designer label, Comme des Garcons is at times perplexing, ugly, garish, confusing, repulsive, kitschy, quirky but always totally amazing. Designer Rei Kawakubo doesn't care about making pretty frocks for socialites, she cares about making interesting, thought-provoking clothing. And the clothes can cost a pretty penny, too.

Well for those who adore the Japanese label but don't have the endless funds to buy pieces fresh from the runway -- you're in luck! This weekend, the line is announcing New York Market Market, a respite where you can find your favorite CdG pieces for up to 70% off.

Starting tomorrow May 6th through the 9th, head over to the Croatian Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius (504 W. 41st St, between 10th and 11th Avenues) to grab the season's most avant garde garments for a fraction of their retail price.

On May 6th, 7th and 9th the market will be open from 10am - 7pm, and from 12pm - 8pm on Sunday the 8th. But get there early, sales like this don't come around every day and you can be sure there will be die hard fans waiting on line and ready to fight tooth and nail for a piece of the action. The selection will be continuously replenished and each night new styles and sizes will be provided, so each day will be a treasure trove of sartorial delights.
