Lady Gaga has a lot on her plate right now. In addition to being the most talked about pop star on the planet, she is also a fashion muse and avid shopper of unusual wares, a vocal spokeswoman for GLBT rights, a Twitter die-hard, a runway model, a soon-to-be perfumer and an all around good time gal. Now, according to her Twitter, La Gaga will now add columnist to her wide-reaching resume.
Apparently she will be contributing to V Magazine as a fashion and art writer. While in our head, she's a forties-style tenacious journalist with a finger wave, tip-tip-tapping at her typewriter, chain-smoking cigarettes and saying witty parlances like "I'll bet my Pulitzer on it," or "Hey, that's my beat, bub!" we doubt it will be that seedy or utterly pedestrian. Gaga seems to find a way to make everything she does unique in her own subversively histrionic way. That being said, we're already anxious to see what someone like Ms. Stefani Germanotta has to say about the current state of art and fashion, seeing as she's quickly become one of the most insider-y insiders on both scenes as well as an arbiter and influential tornado in those realms. When her first column arrives, we'll be there waiting with baited breath -- you can bet your Pulitzer on it.
