Preppy in San Francisco

Preppy clothing doesn't just mean pleated Dockers and polo shirts. This season, it's all about the updated take on traditional styles. To get the look from top to bottom, start small: neckwear. Whether you prefer a skinny tie, bow tie or classic three-inch style, there are tons of colors and patterns to choose from when adorning your neck this spring.

There's nothing wrong with a simple button-down cardigan, but why not change it up with something of a little more interest. Textured fabrics, unique buttons, and military inspiration add excitement to otherwise simple sweaters this season.
