Serena Ryder recently won the Juno Award (the equivalent of our Grammy) for "Adult Alternative Album of the Year" in her native Canada. Her album, Is It O.K. -- recorded with Grammy Award-winning producer John Alagia (Jason Mraz, John Mayer) -- features the single, "Little Bit of Red," which is currently charting at AAA radio. The singer has already earned Canadian gold for the acclaimed album and has also proven herself to be a hard-traveling troubadour with a long series of tours and has already shared stages with Paolo Nutini, Marc Broussard, and Xavier Rudd, not to mention performances at Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. Look for her on the road now with Eric Hutchinson and check out this cover of Kylie Minogue's hit song, "Slow." Send a letter to the editor about this article.
