The fight for equality continues.

Gus Kenworthy and Out100 cover star Ronen Rubinstein brought the fire when attending the Human Rights Campaign Dinner in Los Angeles.

The HRC Dinner raised thousands of dollars in funds, which will help advance efforts to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.

"The HRC is such an incredible organization. For all these years, the HRC has continued to show up and support our community all around the country and it's so important right now more than ever. Our rights are really under attack. The trans community is under attack. Drag queens are under attack. There's all these bulls*** laws coming from the right, coming from conservative states and Republican states. We need to fight back," Kenworthy tells Out.

"[I wanted] to support, to try to lend my voice, to try to lend my platform so more people can see and hear about events like this and the people that are in charge of organizing this. Those are the true heroes. I'm honored and privileged to say I'm a guest of Bryan Michael Smith. He's a true hero," Rubinstein says.

With the fourth season of 9-1-1: Lone Star underway, Rubinstein also dropped a tease for what's to come in future episodes.

"The wedding is on the way. How we're going to get there? I'm not sure, but I'm sure there's going to be many twists and turns before we get there. But, we will get there. Trust me, we'll get there. I'm just so proud and honored to be able to bring [my character] to life," Rubinstein says.
