Here at Out, we’re absolutely no strangers to thirsty posts about celebrities. In fact, we love to follow a celeb’s lead and celebrate any time they feel like publicly talking about their sex lives or making sexual jokes.
Thank you @Madonna my love! Always fun to be invited to the party! 🎉

You all, CAN’T MISS THIS SHOW! pic.twitter.com/bVdoV18Qen
Grammy-winning Latin pop superstar Ricky Martin recently shared a video of himself being a guest judge during a Madonna concert. In her recent shows, she’s been having celebrities come up to help judge dancers and voguers with signs that either say “10” or “chop.”
In the video, you can see that Martin is wearing pants that bunch up in the crotch area when he sits a certain way.
The internet, however, apparently doesn’t always understand the subtleties of pants, and immediately latched onto the idea that Martin had a massive erection during the performance and that it was large and visible for all to see.
To this we have to say: Leave Ricky Martin alone!
Entertainment Weekly was one of the first to share the story, saying “Ricky Martin appeared to be super excited by Madonna's dancers shaking their bon-bons all up on him,” and adding that, “Martin seemingly grew aroused by the dancers’ sensual grinding in front of him.”
EW said that it reached out to Martin’s representative’s for comment, but we’re not sure what kind of comment it would expect. I can’t imagine a world where Martin’s representatives would either confirm or deny the presence of an erection.
Soon, other sites, like TMZ, joined in, joking that Martin was “pitching a tent in his pants.” Speculation is fine, but it really seems like the pants were the ones pitching something in this situation...
We understand the desire to write about any time a celebrity does something sexy, but perhaps in this situation, it's better to keep our thoughts to ourselves than to leap to conclusions about something that probably wasn’t even happening.
If Martin ever wants to talk about being a sex symbol, you know we’ll be here for that. But when his pants bunch up? That’s not news to us.
