This divorce body is divorce body-ing!
On July 6, Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef announced that they were getting a divorce after being married for six years. Martin and Yosef, who have two children together, issued a joint statement where they vowed to focus on creating a “healthy family dynamic and a relationship centered on our genuine friendship.”
Despite the divorce news, Martin kept on touring the world with the Sinfónico Tour. The Puerto Rican singer even shared a video of himself soaking up the sun on a yacht in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.
On Friday, August 25, Yosef took to Instagram story to share a mirror selfie of himself wearing nothing but a speedo.
“Dr. Manhattan,” he captioned the picture. This is most likely a reference to the Watchmen character Doctor Manhattan, who has a tall and muscular body and often only wears a thong to cover his private parts.

Since breaking out the divorce news, both Martin and Yosef have talked about the process they’ve been going through. For one, Martin said in an interview with Telemundo that they had been planning their divorce for a long time, even “pre-pandemic.” In turn, Yosef was approached by a reporter in the middle of the street asking him questions about the divorce. Yosef didn’t say much but did express that he’s in a “good place” following the split.
Recently, Yosef also shared on his Instagram grid a photography series of his shaved chin. Martin appears as one of the people who liked all of the pictures shared by Yosef in this series, which shows that the couple seems to be on good terms indeed.
Nonetheless, both of these men are now single, so one can expect them to occasionally get a little flirtatious on social media moving forward. We will definitely be keeping up with the updates – always looking respectfully, of course!
