From ‘Fire Island’ to ‘Titans’!
From playing the damaged Forty Quinn on Netflix's You to portraying the lovable Charlie in Hulu's Fire Island, James Scully has been garnering a lot of attention in recent years.
Scully started his acting career performing in stage productions in New York City. Since then, he made the transition to TV by appearing on shows like Quantico, Heathers, and 9-1-1, to name a few. In 2019, Scully landed a main role in season two of You and played the character of Ryder in the indie film Straight Up - which were significant landmarks in his career.
This year, Scully appeared as the absolutely adorable and sweet Charlie in the gay rom-com Fire Island. In the film, he served as the love interest of Howie (played by Bowen Yang). Now, he is slated to play Bernard Dowd in season four of Titans, who is a gay character in the comics and many believe will play Robin's boyfriend on the show.
