Australian singer and actor Rob Mills made recent headlines after revealing in his latest book, Putting on a Show, that he participated in an "orgy" involving his Australian Idol costar Courtney Act.
In later years, Act would become known for competing on reality shows like RuPaul's Drag Race, Celebrity Big Brother UK, and the Australian version of Dancing With the Stars. Upon catching wind of Mills' story from his book, Act had the chance to react to this claim and clarify what really went down between the two of them.
Act said during the latest episode of the Brenda, Call Me! Podcast:
"I'm absolutely gobsmacked by this revelation that Rob Mills thinks that three people is an orgy. (...) He doesn't know. You know these ones that, like, think they're a player, and then they reveal themselves to be barely vanilla with an admission like this."
In other words, Act confirmed that she indeed was in a group sex situation with Mills back in the day. Alas, the Drag Race star made sure to clarify that this was a threesome, not an orgy involving more than three people.
For context, Mills' sexuality has always been somewhat unclear whenever the singer has been asked to comment on it. During an interview with the Deeply Shallow podcast, for instance, Mills was asked if he was gay and replied saying that he's "just a little bit." Even though he mostly identifies as straight, he has openly admitted to sleeping with gay men in the past. In any case, he does not identify as bisexual.
Nonetheless, it's great that Act has now presented her own version of this story from Mills' book. It sure seems like the cast of Australian Idol season one got very close to one another!
