The beloved singer, dancer, and all-around queen made a name for herself while competing on the legendary sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, but as a lot of her fans already know, Act has also competed (and won) various other competitions on television.
Here are all of the competitions that Act has graced with her presence over the years!
Before she became an international star, Act auditioned and competed in the very first season of Australian Idol, where she placed 13th overall in the competition. Her time on the show eventually landed her a record deal with BMG Australia, though she later relocated to the states to find more mainstream success.
Act competed in the iconic sixth season of Drag Race where she showed off her passion for turning out looks, and although she didn't end up snatching the crown, she did make it all the way to the final three, where she stood alongside eventual winner Bianca Del Rio and fellow beloved singer/performer Adore Delano, who is also an Idol alum (she competed in season seven of American Idol back in 2008).
Though not the same as a talent show or competition involving gameplay, Act was a contestant on MTV UK's Single AF series, where celebs who needed major help in the love department traveled all over the world looking for "The One" with the help of social media.
Act finally won her reality TV crown when she beat out conservative, anti-LGBT politician Ann Widdecombe in the 21st season of Celebrity Big Brother UK. Throughout her season Act was been praised for highlighting issues relating to the LGBTQ+ community and educating the audience about the intricacies of gender and identity.
Act threw her hat (and her vocal prowess) into the ring when Australia participated in the annual Eurovision Song Contest back in 2019. He anthemic track "Fight for Love" finished in fourth place in the competition to see who would represent Australia, and although she didn't win, the world still got a bop out of it!
Act competed in the 16th season of the Aussie version of Dancing with the Stars, where she made history when she performed out of drag with partner Joshua Keefe, the first time two male-presenting dancers have danced together on the series. Though Act and Keefe were fan favorites throughout their entire run, they finished the competition in second place.
Going up against other reality TV stars, Act sang her heart out even more in ITV2's 2020 season of Celebrity Karaoke Club, where celebs formed musical alliances and battled each other for the title of Karaoke Club Champion.
Now, Act and Keefe are reunited for the All Stars version of Dancing with the Stars, and after a literally flawless debut performance of "Proud Mary" that would indeed make Tina Turner proud, their chances of winning look great so far!
