Tie The Knot

Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s LGBT equality project has a new contributor.

Make way for your next statement accessory.

CFDA-winning designer Billy Reid has partnered with Tie The Knot to create a camouflage bowtie, perfect for the fall. The pattern is something that's always been a point of contention in the style sphere and is easy to overdo, but as an eye-catching accent to an otherwise simple look, it works.

Tie The Knot was founded in 2012 by Jesse Tyler Ferguson and husband Justin Mikita as a way to advocate for marriage equality. At the time of its founding, only six states and Washington D.C. had legalized gay marriage.

"Billy has been such a great friend to Tie The Knot and continues to be one of our favorite designers," Ferguson said in a release. "We are so honored to have him create a bow tie design for us this fall as we continue the ongoing fight for LGBTQ rights."

Reid's design will be available starting October 1 for $25, and $20 per purchase will go directly back to Tie The Knot.
