One of the many traditions at Hermes is to attribute each year with a theme that inspires the artistic direction for the brand's collections. The first official theme, "The year of fireworks," was introduced in 1987 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the house. Now, Hermes artistic director Pierre-Alexis Dumas reinvents this tradition and gives a contemporary expression to the house's annual storytelling, always infusing it with creativity and humor.
Aligning perfectly with 2015's theme, "Flaneurie" (Idleness), the spring-summer menswear collection is whimsically presented in a series of four short films with models Nicolas Ripoll (who was a Out100 honoree in 2011) and Daisuke Ueda.
