10 LGBTQ+ TV Shows Airing During Pride 2021 Season
RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under on WOW Presents Plus
We've had four months of RuPaul's Drag Race already, watching season 13 as well as series two of Drag Race U.K.. This weekend, RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under kicks off featuring 10 queens from Australia and New Zealand. The show will air on WOW Presents Plus, with episodes going live on Saturdays.
(We also expect Drag Race Espana and All Stars season six to be available on WOW Presents Plus and Paramount+, respectively, but air dates have yet to be announced.)

Sadly, things are coming to a close.
The third season of the show that made history will be its last and they are going out with a bang. Premiering on FX on May 2 -- the show is expected to come to Netflix in the months to follow -- the season is set to examine what happens when our core group of characters get everything they've said they wanted.
Legendary on HBO Max
Category is ...
Legendary is back for a season two with ten houses battling it out for a grand prize of $100,000. Now based in Los Angeles, the houses are again pitted against one another to win the weekly Superior House label and the overall show trophy. Jameela Jamil, Leiomy Maldonado, Megan Thee Stallion, and Law Roach return as judges.
Legendary will begin streaming on HBO Max on May 6.
Halston on Netflix
If you're ready to head back to the 1970s and 1980s, Ryan Murphy has a ride in store for you. In a new limited series, he digs into the story of noted fashion designer Halston and his journey to make a name for himself by whatever means necessary. The five-episode project ends with his 1990 death which came from complications related to AIDS.
Halston will launch on Netflix on May 14.
Pride on FX
In a six-part documentary, FX chronicles the struggle for LGBTQ+ civil rights in America from the 1950s until today. It includes how the FBI surveilled suspected LGBTQ+ folks during the Lavender Scare as well as more.
The series will begin airing on May 14 and will run for two weeks. Episodes will air first on FX and then be available on FX on Hulu the next day.
Special on Netflix
You'll always have a special place in our hearts.
The series returns for its second and final season, now with 30-minute episodes. In it, we find Ryan with an unavailable but flirty trainer named Tanner, his mother Karen trying to figure out what's left in her life now that she has pivoted focus, and Kim getting serious about her love life.
The second season of Special drops May 20.
Master of None Presents: Moments in Love on Netflix
After years of nothing, Master of None is coming back with a third season. The five-episode installment will be a two-hander between the character Denise and her partner Alicia, played by Lena Waithe and Naomi Ackie, respectively. It's described as "a modern love story that intimately illustrates the ups and downs of marriage, struggles with fertility, and personal growth both together and apart. Fleeting romantic highs meet crushing personal losses while existential questions of love and living are raised."
The latest season of Master of None will premiere May 23 on Netflix.
Drag Race Espana on WOW Presents Plus
Buenos dias, divas!
Drag Race Espana is ready to debut. After announcing judges, competiting queens, and its host, the show has revealed it will debut on WOW Presents Plus Sunday, May 30. This means that it will run for at least a few weeks while RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under is running. RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season six is also expected to run this summer and is likely to overlap as well.
Love, Victor on Hulu
It's time for junior year.
The Love, Simon spinoff, Love, Victor is headed back for a second season. Now that Victor is newly out of the closet, he has to navigate Creekwood High with an ex girlfriend, and the difficulties of being an out gay star athlete.
The series will release on June 11 on Hulu.
It's time to head back to school.
This private school murder mystery is back in session. And while quite a number of the show's main cast has departed, our queer favorites are still there front and center -- get ready for more Omander.
While season five is already confirmed, season four of Elite will debut on June 18 on Netflix.
