Remi Wolf Is Making Trippy, Funky, Bedroom Pop For You To Vibe To

The sun shines out of Remi Wolf's ass, but don't be afraid to gaze directly into it.

The 25-year-old singer-songwriter offers up a trippy melding of funk, bedroom pop, and disco driven by her powerful voice and a wink. Take "Liz," for instance, a flirtatious ode to a lover who taught her how to live. "She's a sexy little mama," she smiles in the opening line, "just like her daddy taught her." Wolf's powerful vocals glide over the funky love song, almost doo-wop in its approach and feel-good vibes. You'll be humming the earworm of a chorus all day, pining for a Liz of your own.

"Grumpy Old Man" aligns more with the garage-y bedroom pop of her peers Soccer Mommy and Clairo, with a funky twist.

"I'm so defensive I got boobies on my booty / I got feelings in my feelings / I got violets on my violence, yeah," Wolf playfully sings over the groovy beat.

Keep an eye out, Remjobs (that's what she calls her fans), because Wolf's debut album, Juno, is expected to drop October 15.
