Nicholas Alexander isn’t your ordinary fashion model. A 29-year-old illustrator in many mediums — painting, photography, graphic design, even tattoos — Alexander just models for social media.
“It’s more for fun than anything,” he admits. “I define my style as more of a carefree look. I love to layer and add jackets to elevate a look. I’d wear a hoodie everyday if I could. I love oversized clothes as well.”
When he’s not on set, you can catch the gay artist in Nike sweats and Tees (“Something I don’t mind getting dirty while I paint”). The laid-back look extends to his work.
“I enjoy creating art to express myself visually,”Alexander says. “I love that my art has opened many doors for me and has already inspired many other artists to put their art out into the world.”
Currently relocating from Atlanta to Los Angeles, Alexander is all about the kids. He’s worked incredibly hard on his newest project, The Tomorrowers, a colorful children’s book “encouraging kids to hold on to their vivid imaginations because it can really take them places in the real world. They’re our future and they will make a difference.”
In fact, he says a dream for his own future is “to be an inspiration to the younger generation through my art and storytelling. I want to have my own cartoon series that shows kids of all backgrounds exploring their imagination and being their true selves proudly.
