2018 Pride Portrait Series

LGBTQ Pride comes from the heart and demands action to be fully realized. In this year's portrait series Casey Kringlen lets his subjects explore their relationship to pride, something that comes from within, with a simple sparkling symbol painted on their heart and hand, a Pride flag.

Some subjects serve fierceness, some calmly stand and let the viewer glimpse into their psyche, some showcase their pride as a weapon and others shield themselves with their glittering rainbow.

This is Casey's second year shooting a Pride Portrait Series and he is thrilled to have met so many wonderful humans through the process.

Casey plans to continue shooting a diverse group of models, influencers, activists., and others throughout the year as Pride is not a one-month affair.

Casey is immensely grateful for all of the proud LGBTQ people who bravely explored with him for this project.
