A Star is Born Premiere Struck by Lightning

A Star is Born premiered this Friday at the Venice Film festival to nearly unanimous praise -- Variety called it "stunning" and The Guardian said Gaga is "sensationally good" as the titular star -- but the screening didn't quite go off without a hitch. According to a report in Page Six, the theater screening the film was struck by lightning, which cause a bulb in the projector to blow. The theater lost power and the film was eventually started again 15 minutes later.

" Lady Gaga could be seen chuckling and blowing kisses to the audience as festival technicians scrambled to fix the issue," reported Page Six.

Was this a random act of th weather or something more divine -- possibly god's way of saying "Yas Gaga!"
