Netflix is taking out the trash. As we watch Kevin Spacey's career implode over allegations that he attempted to seduce Anthony Rapp when Rapp was only 14-years-old and Spacey was 26, the streaming giant announced that House of Cards will end after its upcoming sixth season.

The news comes hours after the show's creator Beau Willimon called the allegations "deeply troubling," but said that he had no idea about any inappropriate behavior by Spacey. " "During the time I worked with Kevin Spacey on House of Cards, I neither witnessed nor was aware of any inappropriate behavior on set or off," he said in a statement. "That said, I take reports of such behavior seriously and this is no exception."
Public backlash against the once-acclaimed actor has been harsh and swift. Though, that's largely thanks to the fact that his response to the allegations was to blame alcohol for trying to seduce a child and then trying and failing to shift the narrative to him coming out as gay, which he called a choice.

So, yeah, good job Netflix for cancelling his show, but he'll still have the entire final season of the show air in 2018 because, before the allegations surfaced, production was already underway on the new season. Goodbye, Frank Underwood and Kevin Spacey. You won't be missed.
