No, no, no.

Answering to nobody's request for such a mess, Lifetime has created a cheesy unauthorized biopic about Britney Spears' life, starring Australian actress Natasha Bassett of Hail, Ceasar! The two-hour film will track the pop star's rise from her Louisiana roots through the tumultuous late 2000's, though Spears herself will not be contributing ""in any way, shape or form... nor does it have her blessing," according to EW.

This weekend, the trailer for Britney Ever After found its way online and, as we feared, looks like a campy disaster, though Bassett seems to have nailed the singer's friendly southern twang quite nicely. The preview opens with shots of Spears getting swarmed by paparazzi, before cutting to a dramatic close-up of hair clippers. "I'm not going to say I was fine, because I wasn't," she says, bald and surrounded by hair.

Watch the trailer, below, ahead of its official premiere on February 18.
