The music world lost David Bowie last year, but one drag king is helping continue his legacy by taking on the iconic singer's glamrock style.
In an interview with BuzzFeed News, Nikki Boudreau said she began performing in drag a few weeks after Bowie's death in 2016. She has posted many of her Bowie looks on Instagram.

"There are so many layers to why I love doing Bowie drag," she said. "So much of drag is about playing with ideas about identity and gender, and Bowie is such a great subject for that."

She encourages others to explore drag, saying that most would be "surprised" at how many towns have drag bars or clubs.
