The pop star released her ninth studio album, Glory, Thursday night (along with a new emoji!)

Around 11p.m. on Thursday night, the iconic Britney Spears released her highly-anticipated new album, Glory. With a simple tweet, the star announced her ninth album's arrival, and fans went crazy.

The deluxe version of the album comes with 17 tracks and is already available on both Spotify and iTtunes.

It's also her first release since Britney Jean, in 2013. Glory marks the beginning of a new era in Spear's life... and the launch of her very own Twitter emoji!

With her Las Vegas tour in full force and a string of projects lined up, Spears still found time to appeare on "Carpool Karaoke" with James Corden. She will also be performing at this year's VMAs, her first MTV performance since 2007. And although she's distanced herself from it, Britney is also reported to have a biopic in the works for Lifetime.
