Hulu Renews Difficult People for Second Season
The comedy starring Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner will return.
If you can't get enough of Difficult People, you're in luck: Hulu has ordered a second season of the half-hour comedy series. Starring Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner, the show about two cynical New Yorkers working in comedy has had the help of executive producer Amy Poehler (who has also shepherded Broad City through her Paper Kite Productions). Craig Erwich, senior VP and head of content for Hulu, told Variety:
"We have been big fans of Difficult People from day one and are so happy to have Julie and Billy be part of the Hulu family. I cannot wait to see what a whole new season will bring and am pleased to bring more of their hilarious brand of comedy to fans."
The first season has not failed to impress. Eichner and Klausner are comedic soulmates with no boundaries regarding their subject material. It's like watching the conversations you have with your best friends about everything you despise that you're not supposed to bring up in public.

The show has included amazing guest appearances from Andy Cohen, Kate McKinnon, and Martin Short, as well as having Cole Escola and Gabourey Sidibe as regular characters. With another season under way, we can likely expect some more big names in comedy and pop culture... Just maybe not Blue Ivy.
