The first photo of Kerry Washington as Anita Hill in HBO's Confirmation have been released and they are powerful.
The film follows the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas in 1991. Washington is playing Hill, the Oklohoma law professor whose testimony affected the hearings and changed the country's views on sexual harassment. According to Deadline, the film also stars Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Hudson, Eric Stonestreet, and many other notable actors.
Nevertheless, Washington looks supreme in her role in the film, which is written by Susan Grant and directed by Rick Famuyiwa.
