Donald Trump spent his first week back in the White House signing a long list of executive orders to deliver on a few of his main campaign promises. As reported on The 19th, Trump prioritized scaling back immigration and limiting any initiatives concerning diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). This week, he also restricted federal funding and support for gender-affirming care to transgender minors and some adults.
As reported by The Advocate, several organizations are already fighting back against policies enacted by Trump — many of which have dedicated teams providing guidance on immigration issues. Moreover, Out has compiled a list of resources and videos containing information about the legal rights of U.S. immigrants.
