Pride month always makes me think about our history; who came before us? These days I had been thinking about what did it look like to be in love as queer people 30 years ago? Or 75 years ago? Or 150 years ago? I turned to the Lesbian Herstory Archives, the New York Public Library, and a few other collections to find out.
